How cookies and similar technologies support SAHIBAT, and how choices about optional technologies are handled.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Related technologies include local storage, pixels and identifiers that store information or allow a service to recognise a browser or interaction.
Depending on the feature, they may process session identifiers, consent choices, device or browser information, referral details and website interactions. Where this information relates to an identifiable person, our Privacy Policy also applies.
The following categories describe technologies that may be used when the corresponding features are enabled. They do not imply that every category is active on every page.
Technologies needed for functions you request, such as maintaining a secure login, protecting a form, completing a checkout or remembering your privacy choices. Classification depends on the actual function, not simply on whether a technology is useful to SAHIBAT.
Technologies that remember optional settings or support enhanced features. Where they are not necessary for a feature you request, they are treated as optional.
Technologies used to understand visits, navigation, errors and service performance. Their use is subject to the consent or exemption requirements applicable to the particular implementation.
Technologies used to attribute advertising results, measure conversions or support personalised advertising. Where consent is required, these technologies must remain inactive until that consent is given.
Referral identifiers may help associate a membership purchase with an eligible affiliate. An affiliate purpose does not automatically make a tracking technology strictly necessary. Applicable consent requirements still apply.
Where optional technologies require consent, SAHIBAT will request a clear choice before activating them and provide a means to refuse or withdraw that choice. They must remain disabled until the required consent mechanism is available and consent is given.
Information accompanying that choice must identify the technologies or providers involved, their purposes and relevant duration information. This general policy supplements those disclosures.
Continuing to browse, accepting general membership terms or consenting to AI training does not by itself provide consent to optional tracking.
Refusing optional technologies does not prevent ordinary browsing, although a particular optional feature may be unavailable. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant future use; it does not automatically erase information already lawfully collected. Deletion requests are handled under our Privacy Policy.
Features such as embedded maps, videos, payment interfaces, analytics or advertising tools may involve third-party technologies when enabled. Depending on the service, the provider may receive technical information and process it under its own privacy notice.
Optional embedded services that require consent must not load their tracking technologies before that consent. A link to a provider’s policy does not replace SAHIBAT’s own consent duties.
Related international processing is addressed in our Privacy Policy.
Session technologies generally last for a browsing session. Persistent technologies remain until their configured expiry or earlier deletion. The actual duration depends on the technology and purpose; there is no single duration for all cookies.
Your browser can usually block or delete cookies and stored website data. Blocking necessary technologies may affect login, security or checkout. Deleting stored preferences may cause the website to ask for your choices again.
Browser controls are additional options and do not replace any consent controls that SAHIBAT is required to provide.
We may update this policy when website features or legal requirements change. Where a change requires a new consent choice, the updated policy alone will not be treated as consent.
