Content & Intellectual Property Policy

Ownership, publication permissions and reporting an infringement.

Version 1.0 · Effective: 2026-10-03

1. Ownership and your responsibilities

Photographs, text, logos, videos and other submitted material remain the property of the relevant rights-holder. Submission does not transfer ownership to SAHIBAT.

You must hold the rights and permissions required for the intended use, including permissions from photographers, employees, customers and identifiable people. Crediting a creator does not replace permission. Stock licences and AI outputs are not automatically cleared for every commercial purpose.

2. Limited service licence

For content submitted for publication, you grant SAHIBAT a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, worldwide only as needed for online delivery, to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, display and distribute it to operate your profile and deliver promotional services you have purchased or separately authorised.

Providers may exercise these rights only to perform that work for us. The licence does not permit sale of your content as a standalone asset, ownership claims over your trademark, unauthorised endorsements or publication of private verification documents.

An unrelated campaign, new testimonial or materially different use of a person’s image requires appropriate separate permission.

3. Duration and removal

The licence lasts while content is needed for the relevant publication or agreed service and a reasonable removal or technical backup cycle. You may request removal, subject to lawful record retention and any relevant agreed delivery arrangement.

We stop new promotional use after the relevant permission ends. Existing posts under our control will be assessed for removal on request. Independent shares and search caches may remain outside our control. This is not an irrevocable, perpetual promotional licence.

4. Editing and approvals

We may crop, compress, format and correct minor errors while preserving the content’s substance. We must not fabricate quotations, qualifications, testimonials or business claims.

Material changes to a founder story, personal testimonial or commissioned message require the agreed approval process. Approval does not legalise an infringement or remove another person’s rights.

5. SAHIBAT content and brand

SAHIBAT’s original branding, site design, editorial materials and other protected assets belong to their respective owners. You may link to public pages and use sharing functions for their intended purposes.

Do not copy substantial directory content, impersonate SAHIBAT, remove ownership notices or imply unauthorised affiliation. Affiliates receive only the permission provided by their accepted programme terms.

Nothing removes lawful quotation, criticism, accessibility or other non-excludable rights.

6. Personal information and testimonials

Do not publish private conversations, customer records, confidential documents or personal information without a lawful basis. Advertising featuring identifiable people requires the relevant permissions.

Reviews must follow the review rules. We will not repurpose a review into unrelated advertising without the permission required for that use.

7. Reporting infringement

Contact support@sahibat.com or support and provide:

  • The work, mark or other right concerned.
  • The rights-holder and your authority to act.
  • The exact SAHIBAT URL and disputed material.
  • Why you consider the use unauthorised.
  • Relevant evidence and the remedy requested.
  • A reliable contact method and confirmation that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Avoid unnecessary identification documents or private information. Knowingly false reports may breach these policies or applicable law.

8. Review and escalation

We may temporarily restrict material where a report presents a credible risk. Where lawful and appropriate, we notify the affected member and invite evidence of permission or a reasoned response.

We share only the report information reasonably needed to address the claim, taking account of privacy and safety. Content may be restored when the issue is resolved, and repeat infringement may result in proportionate action.

SAHIBAT does not make a binding judicial determination of ownership. Either party may approach the competent authority or court without completing our process where urgent action is needed.
