Advertising & Featured Listings Policy

Transparent paid visibility and clearly defined promotional services.

Version 1.0 · Effective: 2026-10-03

1. Promotional services

Services may include featured directory placements, a Featured Businesses section, homepage highlights, sponsored stories, founder introductions, social-media introductions and eligible event listings. Only services included in an accepted order are owed.

A package name does not define an unlimited campaign. An offer must identify material details such as channels, deliverables, quantity, duration, placement or rotation, required materials, approvals and scheduling.

2. Clear scope and commercial disclosure

A homepage placement may rotate if disclosed. A paid story is not automatically an independent editorial endorsement. An Instagram introduction does not include advertising spend, photography or ongoing management unless expressly agreed.

Advertising and materially incentivised content must be clearly identified using appropriate labels, such as “Sponsored”, “Advertisement”, “Paid partnership” or “Featured — paid placement”.

Disclosures must be visible and understandable, not hidden behind ambiguous wording or placed where users are unlikely to notice them. Affiliates must disclose their potential commission near the recommendation or link.

3. Claims, licences and approvals

Advertisers must provide accurate, substantiated claims and all relevant permissions and approvals. We may refuse misleading prices, fabricated testimonials, unsupported health or income claims, false scarcity and other unlawful content.

Where applicable rules require an advertiser, creator, agency or campaign to hold a permit, the responsible party must obtain it before publication. SAHIBAT must also hold any permissions required for its own activities. Accepting an order does not grant a regulatory exemption.

4. Production and approval

Both parties must follow the agreed delivery and approval process. Members must provide lawful materials and respond to reasonable requests. Material factual changes or personal representations require the agreed approval.

Additional work may need a new quote or timetable. An extra charge is not authorised simply because a member requests correction of our own error.

We cannot use editorial discretion to withdraw an included paid deliverable without an appropriate remedy.

5. Performance and external platforms

We do not guarantee sales, leads, conversion rates, follower growth, reach, search indexing or a fixed rank. We may provide genuine available reporting but will not invent traffic or engagement.

A social network or search engine may change its rules, remove content or restrict a feature. We will take reasonable steps to address effects on agreed deliverables. If a material service cannot be supplied, an accepted substitute or an appropriate remedy under the refund policy must be provided.

6. Paid placement and independence

Paid prominence must be distinguishable from organic relevance and independent quality assessment. Payment does not buy a favourable review, removal of lawful criticism or verification beyond the check described.

Category, territory or competitor exclusivity is not promised unless expressly included in an order.

7. Removal, cancellation and records

We may stop unlawful, misleading or unsafe promotion, with an explanation where lawful. Fees for completed and undelivered work are assessed under the payment and refund terms. Acceptance of an order does not mean all future work has already been completed.

Relevant approvals, claims, permissions and disclosures may be retained for appropriate compliance and dispute-handling periods under the Privacy Policy.
