Eligibility, accurate profiles and the standards behind a SAHIBAT listing.
SAHIBAT is designed for small, medium and large businesses genuinely owned or co-owned by women. A woman owner must have a real ownership interest and a meaningful role in the business. Nominal or sham arrangements do not qualify.
A business merely employing a woman manager, without qualifying ownership, is not eligible under this policy. A qualifying owner or properly authorised representative may submit a profile.
Sole traders, freelancers and home-based businesses may apply where their activities and operating arrangements are lawful and appropriately licensed or exempt. A SAHIBAT listing does not create a licensing exemption.
We may request proportionate evidence of business existence, ownership, representative authority, location or sector permissions. We will explain the purpose and use an appropriate submission channel.
Do not upload identity documents, confidential financial records or licence scans containing unnecessary personal information to public gallery fields. Redact information we do not need where this does not prevent the required check.
Missing, inconsistent or unverifiable information may lead to a correction request, a hold or rejection. A verification label must explain the scope of the check. It is not a guarantee of service quality or regulatory approval. Paid application rejection is addressed by our refund policy.
Each business must hold the licences, permissions and professional approvals required where it operates and advertises. Additional requirements may apply to healthcare, beauty treatments, finance, legal services, education, real estate, food, travel and other activities.
A general trade licence does not establish every specialist permission. We may request sector approvals before publication and refuse prohibited, fraudulent, exploitative or unsafe activities.
We may decline categories we cannot responsibly support. This does not remove our obligations concerning payments already accepted for services not delivered.
Public listing fields may be visible to visitors, search engines and external sharing services. Publish business contact details you are authorised and comfortable to make public.
For a home-based business, use an available service-area or approximate-location option where suitable instead of unnecessarily revealing a private home address. Obtain permission before publishing another person’s image, biography, contact details or testimonial.
Media must accurately represent the business and be cleared for the intended use. Identify stock, illustrative or AI-generated media where otherwise visitors could be misled.
Links must lead to the represented business or an authorised provider. A booking link must not imply that SAHIBAT supplies the underlying service, guarantees the appointment or holds the customer’s funds.
Listing counts, media limits and other allowances follow the accepted package. Each additional branch or business must independently qualify and use available capacity. Do not create duplicates to manipulate search or reviews, or silently repurpose a listing into an unrelated business.
Results may reflect relevance, filters, location, completeness, recency and disclosed paid placement. Membership does not guarantee a fixed position, Google indexing, traffic or exclusivity. See our Advertising & Featured Listings Policy .
We may correct formatting, recategorise a profile, request supporting information or temporarily hide material presenting a credible legal or safety risk. We will not fabricate facts or endorsements.
Where appropriate, we will explain our decision and allow a response. Urgent or legally restricted cases may require immediate action. You may request reconsideration through our complaints process.
A change in qualifying ownership may require amendment or removal. Financial consequences follow the accepted terms, refund policy and applicable law.
